Applications are now open for the2026 UNESCO Science Club Challenge. UNESCO, in partnership with BOE Technology Group Co. Ltd., will launch a Science Club Network in 2026. In this context, the Organization is launching the Science Club Challenge 2026 African edition to support the growth and sustainability of African science clubs within the soon-to-be launched UNESCO Science Clubs Network as part of its global effort to build a worldwide network of young innovators and educators.
All science clubs across Africa are encouraged to document the STEM activities and achievements implemented during the five months preceding the submission deadline of 30 April 2026. As part of the application process, science clubs are invited to prepare and submit the following materials:
Outstanding projects will be recognised through an online, hybrid, or in-person award ceremony. Prizes include:
Certificates and mention on UNESCO’s platforms.
